Floralis Genérica, this beautiful sculpture in the Recoleta neighborhood, is one of the newest symbols of Buenos Aires. Reflecting the grass below and sky above, it's the perfect area to spend a Sunday. Normally it stands above a still pool of water and the petals open in the morning and close at night, meant to represent all of the worlds' flowers. Sadly, we caught it under construction so this snapshot through a hole in the fence was as much as we could get. #recoleta #buenosaires #argentina
