In a spectacular moment photographed at Kruger National Park in South Africa, a terrapin is flicked into the air by a crocodile waiting for its shellshocked prey to land in its mouth. But the croc couldn't swallow it, Caters reported.
Mario Moreno, a guide and photographer credited with snapping the picture, said the terrapin's shell was so slippery that the animal was able to escape into the water, according to reports.
In another photo of a mismatch involving a reptilian beast, a crab pinched an alligator on the snout and scuttled away to safety.
Kudos to the underdogs!
