Dottie Coven and Keith Stewart got married on a Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Dallas this past Sunday in front of friends, family and some very surprised strangers, The Tennessean reports.
"A lot of things around flying tend to not be fun," Coven told the paper. "Let’s make it fun again!"
Because Coven and Stewart fly Southwest Airlines frequently, they had accumulated enough points to pay for 30 friends and family members to fly along, according to video above from USA Today. A four-year-old "flower" girl named Sydney passed out peanuts to passengers, and the couple read their vows somewhere over Arkansas at 32,000 feet.
"If anyone can show just cause why they may not be lawfully joined together," said the officiant, "let them push their flight attendant call button now."
Coven, who met her groom on a dating website two years ago, sent out excited tweets leading up to and after the ceremony:

Southwest didn't sponsor the ceremony, but the airline did send them to one of their new destinations in Puerto Rico as a honeymoon gift, according to People.
